Legislative Building of Nunavut, Iqaluit

Legislative Building of Nunavut architectural and Inuit cultural gem was built between 1998 and 1999. The building is located in the centre of downtown Iqaluit. This three story building of glass and steel structure with a two story assembly hall is famous for its brilliantly colorful interior.

The building preserves some of the best pieces of Inuit art and incorporates traditional Inuit themes, like the shapes of kayaks and sleds. This is a must go site for anyone who has interest in architecture or Inuit culture.
