Killiniq Island, Iqaluit

Killiniq Island is an island in northeastern Canada that attracts the visitors not only from Canada but all around the world.There is existed a former community, meteorological station, coast guard radio station, trading post, missionary post, fishing station, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police post.

People do not live on the Island. An automatic remote radio transmitter for Iqaluit Coast Guard Radio remains in operation.
