Fairview Cemetery, Halifax

Fairview Lawn Cemetery is located in the North End of Halifax and is a best known Canadian cemetery that considered the final resting place for above one hundred victims of the sinking of the RMS Titanic.

The location is beautiful but sober. Many of the graves are simply marked with a number and without name. Most notable of the graves are the unidentified babe who was "adopted" by the rescue squad and for whom they then held a large funeral. Mr. J. Dawson’s grave is also there.
