Black Cultural Centre, Halifax

The Black Cultural Centre serves as a museum and a library resource center for the African Nova Scotian community and the Black Canadian community as a whole. The centre is located Cherrybrook, Nova Scotia near Halifax.

The purpose of the centre is to educate and inspire and to protect, preserve and promote Black culture in Nova Scotia. The center has a permanent display about the former community of Africville.The center holds an annual celebration of black culture, music, and food in October.
