Eglise Sainte-Rose-de-Lima, Laval

The beautiful church Eglise Sainte-Rose-de-Lima depicts the unique culture of Laval.  The architect Victor Bourgeau built the church in 1852 and it was completed in 1856.
Officially recognized as a cultural asset in 1974 by le minister des affaires culturelles, the church is remarkably furnished with a number of excellent pieces including the high altar and two small wooden statues sculpted by Philippe Liébert.
