The Thunder Bay Historical Museum Society was created in 1908 to preserve and interpret the history of Northwestern Ontario.
This museum focuses on the history of the region by demonstrating various artifacts on display including photographs, clothing and tools. Moreover there are frequently rotating special exhibits are organized for the visitors that has become big attraction for them.
