Towner Art Gallery was established in 1920 with the original bequest of 22 paintings by Alderman John Chisholm Towner.
The Towner Art Gallery is located at the Devonshire Park cultural quarter and consist of a big collection such as Picasso, Sussex artist Eric Ravilious and contemporary stars Julian Opie, Wolfgang Tillmans and Tacita Dean.
