The Frye Festival is celebrated with the grant of the municipal, provincial and federal governments. The best of local, Canadian and international authors, including children’s authors, graphic novelists, storytellers, poets, playwrights, spoken-word artists participate inn The Frye Festival.

The Frye Festival is celebrated to promote the discovery and enjoyment of reading and writing by gathering authors with audiences of all ages, creating an annual bilingual celebration of words.
