The Day of the Music Died, Winnipeg

On February 3, 1959 the tour consisting Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper as headliners played the "Surf Ballroom" in Clear Lake, Iowa. Unfortunately it became their last show there and in order to tribute to these great artists a story about a brief stop over the group had at a truck stop on their way to Clear Lake is told.

This Day, the Music Died is celebrated to recall this accident and a celebration of some wonderful musician's work while telling a fun-filled tale of a fictional stop over on that famous tour.
